Recognizing its dedication to quality education and high scientific research Qurtuba University has been ranked 7 all over Pakistan in the field of Business/IT by the HEC.
HEC Category W
In May 2008, Qurtuba University was upgraded to W category which is the highest grade bestowed by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad. The Higher Education Commission (HEC) grants this category to a University on the basis of its quality teaching & research publications by various international bodies.
Legislation & Accreditation
The Qurtuba University of Science & Information Technology is a chartered university and was established through a decree issued by the Governor Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa on 30th August 2001 and is also recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad, Pakistan.
Research - (HEC Recognized Journals)
The University is also publishing two research journals, that is, The Dialogue (Journal of Social Sciences) and JMS (Journal of Managerial Sciences). The Dialogue and JMS have already been recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC) – the first private sector university to have earned this credit.
