President's Message

It is heartening to note that a Research Journal of Managerial Sciences is ready for the press/publication. It may be recalled that two years back the Qurtuba University of Science & Information Technology launched The Dialogue , a quarterly research journal & has received highly laudatory comments & excellent feedback form many of our perceptive readers. The journal of Managerial Sciences is in a way our second effort in a short span of time. The faculty of our Business Management & Administration, the mainstay & the real lynchpin of our university, deserves our hearty congratulations for a successful initiative. Needless to emphasize that teaching & research are an integral part of our higher education so much so that one without the other may become lifeless, vacuous & empty of contents.

However, we will be negligent of our moral obligation if we fail to place on record that the real inspiration to this effect is provided to us by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) whose dynamic leadership is constantly urging us to bring the quality of our teaching & research at par with the most renowned & leading universities of the world. The HEC is always ready to offer us all possible intellectual & moral guidance in this direction. Nevertheless our own faculty also deserves hearty appreciation for accepting the challenge & favorably responding to our solicitations & persuasions. Our faculty is indeed committed to promote research culture in our university. Of course, our eventual objective is to focus on our succeeding generations and enable them to provide the intellectual and moral leadership to our country . We are convinced that without broadening the bases of our knowledge, teaching & research, we can't find an enviable position in the comity of nations.

In any case, we sincerely appreciate that our staff has taken the right step in the right direction. With sustained labor, I am sure they will bring its quality at par with the best in the world.
